Welcome to my Website! If you’re looking for a Professional Licensed Massage Therapist, you’ve come to the right place.
I am trained in a variety of modalities, but prefer to use "Deep Tissue" and "Energy Work". You can click on the "Services & Rates" page to learn more about the techniques I use in my work.
My massages are tailored to meet each individual's unique needs at each session. My massage touch tends to be 'deep' but can easily be adjusted at the client's request at any time during the massage for a lighter or deeper pressure. I have been doing massage since 1993 and have a significant number of years of hands-on experience and a total of over 1,600 hours of education. I am very confident in offering muscular relief from neck tension, back pain, shoulder pain/frozen shoulder, rotator cuff issues, pain related to carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, fibromyalgia, tennis elbow, chronic pain from injuries, and much, much more, just ask.
I specialize in helping people get out of pain for an extended period of time and recover from automobile accidents, sports injuries, home and workplace injuries, and other miscellaneous reasons for sore muscles and pain. I can help reverse injuries caused by repetitive motion, poor posture, poor lifting habits, exercising incorrectly, consistent texting, and other injuries/maladies.
If you’d like to set up an appointment with me, click on "Contact Me" and send me a message. I will get back to you to confirm the details of your appointment, and also answer any questions you might have. You can also go straight to https://www.massagebook.com/biz/liz-royce-massage-therapy to schedule on your own.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO HAVE A REGULAR MASSAGE ROUTINE/APPOINTMENT TO INSURE YOUR ACHES AND PAINS ARE TAKEN CARE OF AND ENSURE YOUR CONTINUED IMPROVING HEALTHY STATE. THAT COULD MEAN A MASSAGE ONCE A WEEK, TWICE A WEEK, THRICE A WEEK, ONCE A MONTH, TWICE A MONTH, THRICE A MONTH....WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET YOUR PAIN AT A MANAGEABLE LEVEL SO THAT YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF IT 100% ON YOUR OWN EVERY DAY THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. MASSAGE IS NOT A DIET WHERE YOU JUST DO IT WHEN YOU FEEL YOU NEED IT. IT REALLY BECOMES A LIFESTYLE UNTIL YOU ARE 'INDEPENDENTLY HEALTHY'.
Investing in a Massage is Investing in Your Health
A professional massage is more than just a luxury—it’s a powerful form of self-care that supports your overall well-being. Regular massage helps reduce stress, ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and enhance sleep quality. It can also boost your immune system and support faster recovery from physical or emotional strain. By taking the time to nurture your body through massage, you’re not only relieving discomfort in the moment but also making a long-term investment in your health, balance, and vitality.
Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress-related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. Massage is an effective tool for managing this stress, which translates into:
Massage can also help specifically address a number of health issues. Bodywork can:
Combining meditation with massage amplifies the benefits of both practices. Here are key advantages:
Deeper Relaxation: Meditation calms the mind, allowing the body to more fully relax during massage, enhancing its stress-relieving effects.
Heightened Body Awareness: Mindfulness during massage helps individuals tune into areas of tension, promoting a more effective therapeutic experience.
Improved Breathing & Circulation: Meditation encourages deep breathing, which complements massage’s effect on improving blood and lymphatic flow.
Enhanced Stress & Anxiety Relief: Both practices reduce cortisol (stress hormone) levels, helping manage anxiety, depression, and emotional tension more effectively together.
Boosted Healing & Recovery: The combined relaxation response supports immune function and accelerates physical recovery from injuries or chronic pain.
Greater Mental Clarity: The calm focus from meditation, paired with physical release from massage, often leads to better mood, sleep, and mental clarity.
